Welcome to your French Holiday in the Heart of France

We are British family that offers bed and breakfast, gite/ self-catering cottage, camping and caravaning, caravan storage and for those who like to fish our lake is on the grounds with carp already stocked. We have a games room in the barn especially for the children just in case you need a break. Our bed and breakfast room is a double bedroom with ensuite. The Gite sleeps six people, and has two bedrooms with two double beds, with facilities for more beds on request, it also has two bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, and is fully self-contained. We offer a continental breakfast for room booking's or for the campers & gite orders for fresh bread and croissants can be taken for delivery. We also have a takeaway menu depending on the season, everyone is welcome to join us for an evening meal, please see optional prices under B&B listing. Location of Holiday in France for you We are situated in the centre of rural French countryside,the Indre department Le Berry region which is ideal for cycling, walking, fishing, or take advantage of the local lake beaches. The nearest village is St.Aout with all amenities and the largest town is called Chateauroux, which is about 30 mins into the town centre. The beauty of our hideaway is your 20 mins to the motorway, but far enough for the tranquil peace and quiet, it is ideal for those travelling to the south of France or Spain, so why not break your journey up and come and relax with us where we will do our utmost to make you feel welcome. Take advantage of our caravan storage and save on ferry crossings, collect your caravan on your way through, and return it on your way back. Then leave it with us for the winter in storage, or take an extra few days and spend them with us in our bed and breakfast. There are also cheap flights through Ryan air to Limoges, Tours and Poitiers Airports. If you book three weeks in advance you can obtain cheaper flights. Area Attractions The Tour De France 2010 will be running from Saturday July 3rd to Sunday July 25th 2010, the 97th Tour de France will be made up of 1 prologue and 20 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,600 kilometres. We have a Zoo, the Brenne National Park of a thousand lakes, golf, vineyards with wine tasting tours, museums, old towns such as Bourges, lake Eguzon and lake Chambon all making a fantastic day out why not book one of our picnics and enjoy the day.
